Pauline

Pauline is so excited to be a visiting teacher at BYB!  Originally from Calgary, Alberta Canada, Pauline decided to become a yoga teacher after falling in love with the Bikram yoga series. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge, she completed her Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in LA in the spring of 2014. She has furthered her practice with a passion for many styles of yoga and completed her Level 1 Baptiste Power Flow training in Arizona as well as a 15 hour Yin Training in Calgary. She currently lives in Lethbridge, Alberta as studio manager and full-time teacher at Hot Yoga Lethbridge.


Pauline instructs the following:
  • 1 Hour Bikram
  • 1 Hour Beginners Series, 26 postures with 2 breathing exercises designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced, to work the entire body from bones to skin.
    The room is heated to 105 with 40% humidity allowing the body to stretch safely and detoxify fully. Students are encouraged to rest when needed, listen to the body, never force. You will be amazed at what is possible!

  • Yoga Plus
  • This is a fun, beginner friendly class that combines yoga, pilates, and HIIT (high-intensity-interval-training) principles to build strength in the core, legs, and back muscles of the body. We work the entire body from head to toe.

    Each class will follow the same basic format of using Vinyasa flow (yoga) to warm up, introducing weights throughout our flow.  This class is designed to create long, lean muscle mass, burn fat and increase fitness levels. Get ready to burn, burn, burn and have fun doing it!  Beginners welcome!  

     

     


  • Bikram Yoga 90 Min
  • 1.5 Hour Beginners Series, 26 postures with 2 breathing exercises designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced, to work the entire body from bones to skin.
    The room is heated to 105 with 40% humidity allowing the body to stretch safely and detoxify fully.  Students are encouraged to rest when needed, listen to the body, never force.  You will be amazed at what is possible!  

  • Power Vinyasa
  • This strong hour-long class builds on variations of the Vinyasa flow. Come prepared to work at your level that day, but know you will get a strong practice. Room Heated 95-100 degrees.
